Data we collect

If you have a gym-owner account, we store your username and password. Your password is automatically hashed by Supabase Auth — neither we nor anyone else can ever see it as plain text. We also store your gym's details (name, address, WhatsApp number, prices, images) so it can appear in search results for other users.

How we protect your account

Login and logout happen through Supabase Auth over encrypted HTTPS. Your gym is linked only to your account (owner_id), and database-level Row Level Security rules prevent anyone else from editing or deleting your gym's data, even if they have the app's public API key.

Sharing data with third parties

Payment details are sent directly to the Paymob payment gateway only at the moment of checkout; we never store your card details on our own server.

Data stored on your device

We use local device storage for simple app preferences such as your last selected place, favorites, and limited local interaction events. This is separate from your account data stored on the server.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your account or your gym's data at any time by contacting us via the WhatsApp number or email listed in the app.

1. Nature of the service

Gym Radar is a listings platform showing gym and fitness venue information submitted by the venue owners themselves. We are only a display intermediary and are not a party to any membership contract between a user and a gym.

2. Content responsibility

Gym owners are fully responsible for the accuracy of the information they add (prices, offers, photos, opening hours). Gym Radar is not responsible for any dispute between a user and a gym regarding this data, and reserves the right to remove any misleading or violating content without prior notice.

3. Packages and payment

"Featured" packages promote a gym's listing prominently for the paid duration only (1 / 6 / 12 months, depending on the plan chosen), and do not guarantee any specific number of views or customers. Amounts paid for a package are non-refundable once activated, except where a technical error on our part fully prevented the package from ever taking effect.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials (username and password) confidential. We reserve the right to suspend or remove any account that violates these terms or attempts to misuse the platform (fake data, abusive content, attempted hacking).

5. Reviews

Reviews and comments reflect the opinion of their author only. Posting abusive or fake content is not allowed, and we reserve the right to remove any violating review.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the updated date will be shown here. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
